ARC is part of Barnsley Healthcare Federation, which has been around since 2015. Meaning we have the heritage, backing, expertise and certified GDPR colleagues and practitioners available to us, enabling ARC to be created.
At Barnsley Healthcare Federation we’ve been managing the data for our many GP practices, so we are particularly well-placed to look after your organisation. We look after over 240,000 patients data safely!

We quickly realised that since the inception of GDPR back in 2018, the data protection landscape would change quite rapidly, hence creating our own in-house Data Protection team to assist local businesses with such vital issues.

Danielle is The Head of Data Assurance and governance and has a Bachelor of law degree from Sheffield Hallam University. Danielle is also a Certified Data Protection Officer, an EU GDPR Practitioner and a certified Auditor and offers a wealth of knowledge & experience. But it’s not just technical expertise that sets our DPO Danielle apart. Her genuine caring passion for data protection extends beyond the confines of our organisation. Danielle actively advocates for privacy rights, shaping the industry’s discourse and empowering individuals to take control of their data protection.
